Level of Ability: The child must have access to a phone or tablet that can access the iTunes app store and headphones. The user must be able to understand pictures as symbols or be able to read. The child must also have fine motor control to apply pressure to the screen in order to control the application.
How It Works: This application is used for text-to-speech communication. Symbols or words can be pressed and played back through the speaker of the device.
Possible Uses: This application can be used throughout the day in multiple settings. The application has multiple levels of vocabulary and can be modified and new pages can be created if needed using images from the application or images can be uploaded.
Notes: This app is easily used for users from emergent readers to adults. It is easily modified and is very versatile in that it can used easily from setting to setting.
